Oklahoma School Counseling Accountability Report (OSCAR)

A continuous improvement tool that demonstrates how students are different as a result of your comprehensive school counseling program.

OSCAR Announcement:

  • Is your school counseling program excelling through the use of data?

  • Are you interested in the ASCA RAMP designation but looking for a place to begin?

  • Would you like to receive feedback on specific program components before your final RAMP submission?

The Oklahoma School Counselor Accountability Report (OSCAR) serves as a valuable tool for advocating for your program with data. Designed as a "mini-RAMP," OSCAR honors exceptional Oklahoma programs that align with both the ASCA Model and our state framework.

  • The deadline to apply is Sunday, June 21, 2026, by midnight.

  • Please note: OSCAR is only accepting the 4th edition of the application this year. (ASCA is accepting either the 4th or 5th edition for RAMP this year, during transition. Beginning in 2027, both OSCA and ASCA will only accept the 5th edition for OSCAR and RAMP.)

  • OSCAR is scored based on the following five components of the ASCA RAMP designation:

    • Vision and Mission Statements

    • Annual Student Outcome Goals

    • Annual Administrative Conference

    • Annual Calendar

    • Closing the Gap Action Plan/Results Report

  • Apply through the ASCA Portals page:

    • scroll down to "Districts and Universities"

    • click "Access the Districts Portal"

    • then, "Click here to select your district or university"

    • use the drop down menu and select "OSCAR - Oklahoma School Counselor Accountability Report"

    • click continue, enter the name of your school, and follow the instructions

  • Please note: If you have already started an OSCAR application using the 4th or 5th edition RAMP portal, please reach out to Susan Watson at sewatson@okcps.org as soon as possible, so we can switch your application to the district portal
