OSCA Scholarship


This year's recipient of the OSCA is Ms. Bethany Glenn.

Bethany is a first-year graduate student at Northeastern State University.  Bethany majored in Psychology and Cherokee studies as an undergraduate and is passionate about making a difference with marginalized and under-served students.


The OSCA Scholarship is for OSCA members in a School Counseling graduate program. 

Oklahoma School Counselor Association

Graduate Student Scholarship

Applications must be submitted by October 1st.

Announcement of recipient will be made by November 1st.

Requirements for scholarship:

Must be a member of the Oklahoma School Counselor Association.

Must be in a Master’s Program in Counseling in the State of Oklahoma.

Must plan on being a School Counselor in Oklahoma.

Attach official transcript showing Bachelor’s degree and Master’s work

Grade Point Average of 3.5 or above in Master’s Program is required

Attach a 250-word description of your future work as a school counselor.

Attach your resume or vita with 3 professional/ personal references.

Secure a signature from university that you are enrolled in a Masters in Counseling.

A $500 check will be paid to the Bursars’ Office of the recipient’s attending college.
